St. Patrick’s Day Green Smoothie Bowl

smoothie_featureToday is  St. Patrick’s Day, a perfect day to go for the greens!  The fastest and freshest way to get in your fruits and veggies is with a smoothie bowl! This green smoothie bowl is so tasty you will forget you’re actually getting a healthy dose of fruit and vegetables.

Serves: 1-2

Ingredients:

Smoothie:
1.5 cups frozen tropical fruit mix (e.g. mango, pineapple, papaya)
½ banana
½ cup chopped frozen spinach
1.5 cups almond milk
1.5 tbsp. honey

Toppings:
1/8 cup fresh raspberries
¼ cup banana, sliced
1 tsp chia seeds
½ tbsp. honey

Directions:
1. Combine frozen fruit, banana, spinach, milk, and honey into blender.
2. Blend on high until smooth and thick consistency.
3. Pour into bowl and top with raspberries, banana, and chia seeds.
4. Drizzle with honey and enjoy!
