Spring 2016 Interns

Meghann Hawes, Photography Intern
Meghann is currently a senior at Texas A&M University studying nutritional sciences. After graduating in the spring, she intends to combine her passions of athletics and nutrition by becoming a sports nutritionist to impact the lives and careers of up-and-coming athletes. Eventually, she would love to work for a professional sports team, but starting out, she is looking at college teams and high school athletics to instill beneficial nutrition habits early on in athletes’ careers. Her passion for nutrition began during her years of playing high school tennis. Athletics is still a major part of Meghann’s life; however, it is usually in the form of attending football games or working out at the gym since her main focus is schoolwork and studying. Outside of school and sports, she also enjoys painting, dancing, and cooking.

Kelsey Johnson, Recipe Development Intern
Kelsey Johnson is currently a junior at South Dakota State University majoring in dietetics and pre-medicine with a minor in health education. Her desire to become a dietitian started after her personal weight loss journey in high school where she learned the importance of proper nutrition and exercise. She has the desire to help others obtain their personal nutritional and overall health goals in the future. Kelsey plans to graduate in May of 2017 and participate in a dietetic internship at Iowa State University and then attend Doctor of Osteopathic school after obtaining a registered dietitian certification. Several of Kelsey’s passions outside of learning about nutrition including: running, cooking, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

LeeAnn Kindness, Social Media Intern
LeeAnn is a second year graduate student at Drexel University majoring in human nutrition and plans on becoming a registered dietitian post-graduation. LeeAnn received her undergraduate degree in business marketing from Temple University and has enjoyed working in marketing and ecommerce for the past 10 years. She hopes to combine her love for marketing and passion for health and wellness in her future career.

Nikki Kuhlmann, Recipe Development Intern
Nikki is currently a senior at South Dakota State University majoring in dietetics and minoring in biology. Her passion for becoming a dietitian began at age 12 when she became a vegetarian and realized she had a love for nutrition research. Nikki plans to graduate this spring and hopes to land a dietetic internship in North Carolina, which she plans to make her permanent home. If Nikki isn’t in classes you can find her at the gym, grocery shopping, or in the kitchen for several hours trying new foods.

Stephanie Lin, Editorial Assistant
Stephanie is a sophomore at Cal State University, Long Beach pursuing a degree in dietetics with an intended minor in Chinese and food science. She loves experimenting with food, reading good books, and exploring new places. After graduation, Stephanie hopes to become a nutrition educator, RD, and certified yoga instructor spreading positive vibes everywhere she goes.

LeighAnn Lorenzetti, Social Media Intern
LeighAnn is a senior at Rutgers University majoring in nutritional science-dietetics and minoring in psychology and dance. As a dancer and a dance teacher she knows how important a healthy mind and body are. Her passion for dance also fueled her passion for creating a healthy, balanced lifestyle. When she isn’t trying out new recipes or restaurants in town, she loves to watch food shows, go on hikes, or spend time with her family!

Jillian Mergruen, Special Events Intern
Jillian is a senior dietetics major at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a vegetarian and a foodie; Jillian loves trying different veggie foods throughout the world, which she did often throughout her abroad experience in London. Jillian’s dreams for the future are to become a registered dietitian, while traveling the world exploring the different cultures and their favorite foods.

Jackie Parker, Writing Intern
Jackie is a junior nutritional sciences student at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas (whoop!!). After completing her undergraduate degree, she hopes to go to graduate school to complete her dietetic internship and master’s in international nutrition with an emphasis on agricultural sustainability and public health. She has worked extensively with Texas A&M’s sports performance nutrition team working alongside current registered dietitians to serve student athletes and coaches. You may find her salsa dancing on Wednesday evenings and cooking tasty dinners for her friends on Sunday nights.  After studying abroad in Costa Rica for a semester, she has a newfound love for surfing, hiking, and indulging in any adventure.

Stacey Senter, Editorial Intern
Stacey is a graduate student at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, getting her master’s degree in nutrition. Stacey is originally from North Carolina, but grew up in Costa Rica, Honduras, Germany, and (mostly) Chile. As expected, her Hispanic background has made her a lover of culture, food, and people, and with an unquenchable wanderlust, she enjoys exploring, looking for adventures, trying new foods and meeting people from around the globe! Stacey believes that everyone has a unique and beautiful life story, and looks forward to incorporating that belief into her future work as a registered dietitian.

Katrina Wu, Graphic Design Intern
Katrina is currently a second year student at University of California, Santa Cruz majoring in business management economics with an intended minor in art. In her free time, she enjoys watching poetry slams, trying different foods, and doodling in her notebook. In addition, Katrina loves traveling abroad, drinking tea, and taking photographs. Katrina plans to go into event planning or marketing and advertising after graduation.

 

Fall 2015 Interns

Esther Chen, Writing Intern
Esther Chen is a fourth-year student at the University of California, Davis studying clinical nutrition. Her goals after graduation include landing a dietetic internship and becoming a registered dietitian. If possible, she would like to travel more and maybe even find a job overseas.

Nikki Kuhlmann, Recipe Development Intern

Reina Nicole Hayashi, Instagram Intern
Nicole is a junior at NYU, majoring in nursing and minoring in nutrition & dietetics. As a health sciences enthusiast and graduate of Walnut Hill School for the Arts’ Dance Department, she knows how important diet and exercise are for a positive and wholesome synergy of physical and mental, strength and wellbeing. Her passion for raising awareness of a balanced lifestyle has catalyzed a pursuit to become a nurse practitioner in sports medicine and provide young dancers and athletes with the resources they need for wellness and longevity. When not in class or the gym, she can be found experimenting in the kitchen, in a spin class, or eating copious amounts of carrots or frozen yogurt.

Meaghan is a sophomore at Syracuse University majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics and minoring in Business Management. Her goal is to pursue a job as a registered dietitian after graduating. She bleeds orange and takes a lot of pride in her school. When she is not studying or cheering on the Syracuse basketball team, you can find her on the rugby pitchas as she is a member of the Syracuse University Women’s Rugby Team. Lizzie McManus, Writing Intern
Lizzie is a second year graduate student in Drexel University’s M.S. in Human Nutrition program. After graduation, she plans to complete her dietetic internship and become a registered dietitian specializing in whole foods and plant-based nutrition. Lizzie has a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Sociology from the College of the Holy Cross and is passionate about sustainable food systems. Her hobbies include writing for her food blog, running, and practicing yoga. She loves sharing good food and conversation with her friends and family!

Elana Rubin, Writing Intern
Elana is a senior at New York University double majoring in journalism and art history. She loves all things chocolate (especially Levain dark chocolate chocolate chip cookies). Her pastimes include writing, eating, museum-hopping, and attempting to decipher Harry Styles’ tweets.

Allie Einarsson, Recipe Development Intern

Mary Clay Kline, Recipe Development Intern
Mary Clay is a sophomore at The University of Alabama majoring in Food and Nutrition. She is the market manager of Homegrown Alabama, the university’s on-campus Farmer’s Market, and she hopes to one day pursue a career in food journalism. She is obsessed with food and is excited to put her obsession to work while interning with Foodie on Campus.

Sammy Gitlin, Photography Intern
Sammy is a rising senior at Cornell University majoring in Nutritional Sciences and completing the Didactic Program in Dietetics. She is the president of the Health and Nutrition Society and is a member of the Cornell University Dietetics Association. Sammy is an avid food instagrammer, Pinterest-er, and is an exercise nut. Sammy hopes to eventually become a registered dietitian with a focus on sports nutrition.

Belen Rediet, Photography Intern
Belen recently graduated with a degree in Nutritional Science from California State University, Los Angeles. She plans to travel the world while indulging her photography passion. In the near future, Belen hopes to become a Registered Dietitian. Spending quality time with her family and friends is a top priority and when she’s not catching up on shows via Netflix, she enjoys reading photography blogs, cooking desserts with friends, running at the beach, going to museums, and trying new places to eat in Los Angeles.

Jasmine Briones, Social Media Intern
Jasmine is currently in her last year at California State University, Los Angeles, and will be graduating with a degree in Nutritional Science in Spring of 2016. Jasmine is also the creator, author and photographer behind a vegan health and lifestyle blog, sweetsimplevegan.com, where she shares her passion for plant-based nutrition in hopes of inspiring others to take charge of their health. She plans to become a Registered Dietician and specialize in plant-based nutrition, and start a private practice stemmed off of her blog work and audience.

Shaun Hui, Social Media Intern
Shaun is a senior at Rutgers University studying Nutritional Sciences, Dietetics Option. He hopes to become a Registered Dietitian after graduating and would like to work in nutrition education programming in low-income communities. As a foodie, Shaun loves to cook and experiment with different recipes from Tumblr and Pinterest. When Shaun is not in the kitchen, he enjoys listening to music or watching reruns of Broad City all day.

Dan is a 2015 graduate from Rutgers and will begin as a Dietetic Intern/Masters student at Rutgers SHRP/GSNB. The concept of food and nutrients is fascinating and he looks forward to contributing to the field in anyway possible. He enjoys actively working on his fitness as Fergie would say, playing video games, learning to be more musically inclined, and hanging out with his bunny.

Researchers

Heather Borders, Research Intern
Heather recently graduated with a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of North Florida. She is excited to begin her dietetic internship rotations as part of a distance program with Wellness Workdays. Heather intends to become a Registered Dietitian and build the company she founded, Kailo Nutrition, into a cooking school that focuses on teaching the community how to prepare delicious plant-based meals.

Kara Andrews
Kara is a sophomore at Syracuse University, majoring in Nutrition & Dietetics with a minor in Gerontology. Her goal is to become a Registered Dietitian and work in the field of sports nutrition. She loves running, biking, and cardio in general. Kara also loves animals, her five cats and two adorable puppies in particular. She’s grown a passion for nutrition over the years, and can’t wait to use that passion to teach others in the future.

Michelle Baker, Writing Intern
Michelle Baker is a Junior at the University of Dayton where she studies Dietetics and Nutrition and Fitness. After graduating, she aspires to become a Registered Dietitian and work with a professional sports team or write for a health and fitness magazine. Michelle adores puppies, sports, and all things chocolate. In her free time she loves to run and work out, go hiking, kayak, get ice cream and laugh too much with her friends. Most of all, she enjoys trying new things and experiencing anything outdoors!

Emily Carlo is entering her sophomore year at NYU. Currently majoring in Nutrition & Dietetics and minoring in Media, Culture and Communication (MCC), Emily hopes to work in the food industry for a company such as Whole Foods. When not in the city, Emily enjoys exploring new and unique places to enjoy food with her friends. She also loves to run, cook, and read.

Lauren Cash
Lauren is in her first year of the Master of Science program at California State University, Los Angeles studying nutritional science. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in human development and an Master of Arts in psychology. Lauren is passionate about healing people’s relationship with their food and bodies. She has a special interest in eating disorders and hopes to work in a treatment center as a Registered Dietitian in the future. When not studying or working, Lauren can be found consuming coffee while spending time on her Mac perusing the articles she’s saved for further reading or blogging at Breathe & Nourish. If you happen to tear her away from her computer, she’s probably walking while listening to an audiobook or spending time with friends.

Jennifer Collins
Jennifer is a senior at San Diego State University studying nutrition and dietetics. Not only is she a fulltime mom, she’s also an active member of her community, a reservist in the US Air Force, and an aspiring registered dietitian hoping to work in holistic health. She loves spending quality time with her family and indulging in her creative addictions through photography and crafting.

Michelle Chen
Michelle is a sophomore at Cornell University majoring in Nutritional Sciences with a concentration in Dietetics. With a passion for all things nutrition and fitness related, Michelle always welcomes the opportunity to attend a new fitness class or try out the latest health food product to hit the market. When she is not blogging or reading up on the latest health and fitness trends, Michelle can be found experimenting with all different kinds of crazy ingredients in the kitchen, traveling the world, practicing yoga, getting lost in a good book while sipping a cup of tea, or simply spending quality time with her family and friends. Kara Feeney, Social Media Intern
Kara was a previous college gymnast, turned college diver at The University of Alabama. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and is currently en route to obtaining her Masters degree in Sports Dietetics. In her spare time she enjoys ballroom dancing, aerial yoga, diving, and traveling. She also has a passion for cooking and experimenting in the kitchen.

She is a member of both the Health Nuts and the Cornell University Dietetics Association. Sammy is an avid food instagrammer, dancer, and chef. Elle Hall
Elle Hall is a senior at Indiana University Bloomington, majoring in Dietetics. After graduating, she plans on completing a Dietetic Internship and becoming a Registered Dietitian. Elle loves to spend time outdoors, especially at her family’s lake house during the summer months. She is passionate about food and all things cooking, and can’t wait to pursue a career in dietetics.

Melissa Heller, Writing Intern
Melissa is a Health Science major at Boston University. She is a tour guide for BU Admissions, teaches swimming lessons at BU’s Fitness and Recreation center, a member of the Nutrition Club and a member of the neuroscience club. In her free time, she loves trying different workout classes, cooking, eating at upandcoming restaurants, petting every dog she walks by, and spending time with her family and friends.

Caroline Hugar
Caroline is a senior at Syracuse University majoring in nutrition and dietetics. She strongly agrees with Julia Childs quote“ People who love to eat, are always the best people”. She loves being able to combine two of her favorite things when working in the field of nutrition…food and people. In the future, her dream is to open her own private practice specialized in pre/post natal nutrition. She loves, a full table of family and friends with lots of conversation, food, and dessert of course. She also loves being outside, taking time to herself for yoga, and getting lost in the midst of an adventure.

Emma Majchrzak
Emma is currently a senior studying dietetics at the University of Dayton, originally from Cincinnati, OH. She is on the women’s club lacrosse team at Dayton, a member of an honors biology fraternity, as well as UD’s student dietetic association, an elementary school tutor, and Dayton humane society volunteer. After spending a month in Cameroon, Africa Emma has aspirations to travel again as a registered dietitian helping developing countries improve their nutrition and health status.

Elgin Martin, Social Media Intern
Elgin is a sophomore Drama major at Kenyon College. From a very young age his parents helped cultivate in him a passion for health and food. Elgin is an avid tweeter and blogger and is thrilled to be working on the Foodie on Campus team!

Joanne Mumbey, Social Media Intern
Joanne is a senior at Johnson & Wales University Providence, majoring in Culinary Nutrition with hopes of becoming a registered dietitian. She is a captain of the university’s women’s cross country team and loves the outdoors. She is extremely passionate about cooking and sharing good food with friends and family. Joanne loves trying new foods and is always searching for new recipes to experiment with on blogs and Pinterest.

Dan Nguyen
Dan is a nontraditional student returning to Rutgers University to complete a secondary degree in Dietetics, after receiving his Bachelor’s in Biology in 2012. Loving the twist of nutrition and fitness, he would like to become a Registered Dietitian to aid others in finding their happy medium of the two. Having a competitive nature, he loves to test his skills whether they be academic, video games, or sports. He isn’t so great at cooking, but he’s trying his best to become a master chef…or at a decent cook. Oh, and he has a bunny that he adores.

Nikki Nies
Nikki recently moved to the greater Chicago area to complete the combined dietetic internship and Master’s program at Benedictine University. She has developed a passion for educating others and increasing their awareness on everything nutrition. Besides nutrition, Nikki can be found baking, biking, creating outofthe box crafts and reading the daily news!

Moriah Nkosi
Moriah is a sophomore at Cornell University studying Nutritional Science and completing the Didactic Program in Dietetics. After graduation she plans on completing a dietetic internship and becoming a Registered Dietitian. Moriah’s been a vegetarian since late 2007, and really enjoys cooking and baking. In her free time she also enjoys tennis, ice skating, Pinterest, running, dancing, reading, and cute animals.

Michelle Przybilla
Michelle Przybilla is a junior at James Madison University as a dietetics major. Her future goal is to become a Registered Dietitian. In her free time she enjoys playing guitar/ukulele, baking sweets, taking photos, and watching Food Network.

Natalie Senninger
Natalie is a junior at The University of Dayton, majoring in Dietetics. Her goal is to become a Registered Dietitian and have her own practice one day. Natalie loves cooking and baking and hopes to take culinary classes in the future. When she’s not in the kitchen, you can find her running, working out, shopping or hanging out with friends and family. She believes in balance in life and loves vegetables just as much as chocolate!

Ashley Sobel
Ashley Sobel is a junior at the University of Delaware majoring in Dietetics. After graduation, she aspires to become a Registered Dietitian and share her passion for health and wellness with others. She loves cooking and sharing good food with friends and family. She has a particular interest in experimenting with spices and researching their benefits. As the founder of a dance team at her University, Ashley spends much of her time dancing and teaching dance classes. She also loves farmer’s markets, yoga, coffee, and traveling to unique places.

Liz Wluka
Liz Wluka is currently a senior at Syracuse University majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. She plans on continuing her education by completing a dietetic internship and becoming Registered Dietitian. When not laughing, or trying to make others laugh, Liz enjoys eating, playing basketball, working out and cooking brussel sprouts! Liz is extremely passionate about nutrition and enjoys motivating others to feel the same. She hopes to open up her own private practice in the future specializing in weight loss management.

 Summer 2014 Interns

Dakota Howe, Writing Intern
Dakota Howe is going into her junior year at Framingham State University as a Food and Nutrition major with a concentration in Nutrition and Wellness. A lover of all things food and fitness, you can either find her experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or at the gym lifting weights. Dakota recently completed her second Tough Mudder and plans to run several more in the years to come. She is eagerly awaiting the fall semester studying abroad in Florence Italy. Dakota enjoys cooking, reading, writing, working out, snowboarding in the winter, and relaxing at the beach during the summer.

LeighAnn is a senior at Rutgers University majoring in Nutritional Science and minoring in Psychology and Dance. As a dancer and a dance teacher she knows how important a healthy mind and body are. In her free time she loves watching cooking shows, rock climbing, painting her nails, and spending time with her family.

Stefani Pappas, Editorial Assistant Intern
Stefani is a senior at the Pennsylvania State University majoring in Nutritional Sciences and minoring in Human Development and Family Studies. She plans on completing a Dietetic Internship and becoming a Registered Dietitian. Stefani is a member of Penn State’s Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority, the Student Nutrition Association, and the Schreyer Honors College Student Council. She also enjoys her role as a Penn State Fitness Instructor, and as a research assistant for the Penn State NEEDS Center. Lendy Black, Social Media Intern
Lendy is a senior at Clemson University studying Food Science with a concentration in Nutrition as well as a minor in Chemistry. She plans to continue her education following graduation by completing a Dietetic Internship in conjunction with a masters in Nutrition. She has a passion for all things food including cooking and learning all she can about the field of nutrition!

Paige Swint, Photography Intern
Paige is a junior studying dietetics at The University of Akron. After graduating and becoming a registered dietitian, she plans on working in a clinical setting in oncology. Her dream is to start her own business helping pregnant women maintain a healthy weight. Paige is passionate runner. She has participated in multiple 5ks and half marathons. When she isn’t running, she loves being with her friends and family, shopping, and camping.

Joanne Mumbey, Social Media Intern
Joanne is a senior at Johnson & Wales University Providence, majoring in Culinary Nutrition with hopes of becoming a registered dietitian. She is a captain of the university’s women’s cross country team and loves the outdoors. She is extremely passionate about cooking and sharing good food with friends and family. Joanne loves trying new foods and is always searching for new recipes to experiment with on blogs and Pinterest.

Michelle Baker, Writing Intern
Michelle Baker is a Junior at the University of Dayton where she studies Dietetics and Nutrition and Fitness. After graduating, she aspires to become a Registered Dietitian and work with a professional sports team or write for a health and fitness magazine. Michelle adores puppies, sports, and all things chocolate. In her free time she loves to run and work out, go hiking, kayak, get ice cream and laugh too much with her friends. Most of all, she enjoys trying new things and experiencing anything outdoors!

Laura Asbury, Photography Intern
Laura is a junior at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio majoring in dietetics and kinesiology. Her goal is to become a sports dietitian and work with athletes. She loves playing soccer, taking pictures, cooking, eating peanut butter, and hanging out with her two dogs!

Anna Lawler, Writing Intern
Anna Lawler is a junior at Purdue University studying dietetics. She has a true passion for healthy living and aspires to share her plant-based lifestyle with others. She loves mangos and vegetable sushi and in her spare time she enjoys being in nature, playing with her cats and dog and staying active. In particular, she loves dancing, practicing yoga and hiking. She agrees with Hippocrates: “Let food be thy medicine and mmedicine be thy food.”

Alaina Finkelmeier, Writing Intern
Alaina will be a junior at Indiana University studying dietetics and sustainability. In the future, Alaina would love to pursue a career working with healthy food and teaching kids about nutrition, while also implementing sustainable practices in her work. Alaina spends her free time with her family and also is very interested in fitness. She loves her two puppies, Louie and Gracie, and the Harry Potter series.

Selin Demir, Administrative Intern
Selin is a junior at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst studying Political Science and Economics. She loves anything food related, dogs, traveling, Starbucks, and extreme couponing! She has been lucky enough to travel around the world and experience so many delicious types of food and hopes to continue to travel as much as she can!

Kara Feeney, Social Media Intern
Kara was a previous college gymnast, turned college diver at The University of Alabama. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and is currently en route to obtaining her Masters degree in Sports Dietetics. In her spare time she enjoys ballroom dancing, aerial yoga, diving, and traveling. She also has a passion for cooking and experimenting in the kitchen.

Melissa Heller, Writing Intern
Melissa is a Health Science major at Boston University. She is a tour guide for BU Admissions, teaches swimming lessons at BU’s Fitness and Recreation center, a member of the Nutrition Club and a member of the neuroscience club. In her free time, she loves trying different workout classes, cooking, eating at upandcoming restaurants, petting every dog she walks by, and spending time with her family and friends.

Elgin Martin, Social Media Intern
Elgin is a sophomore Drama major at Kenyon College. From a very young age his parents helped cultivate in him a passion for health and food. Elgin is an avid tweeter and blogger and is thrilled to be working on the Foodie on Campus team!

Dana is a senior dietetics student at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. After graduating and becoming a registered dietitian, she hopes to focus her career on helping people with food allergies and other dietary restrictions. She loves playing and watching basketball, road tripping with friends, and baking delicious treats she finds on Pinterest!

Hannah Mitchell, Administrative Intern
Hannah is a sophomore at Brandeis University studying Psychology, Sociology, and Theatre. The daughter of a dietitian, she knows good food! When not in class, she can be found managing shows on the Brandeis stage, working in the lab, spending time with her special needs buddy or hanging out with friends.

Sydney Richards, Writing Intern
Sydney is a senior dietetics major at the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduation she will begin her dietetic internship at Penn State and hopes to become a corporate wellness dietitian. She loves cooking, traveling, sushi, and teacup pigs.

Hannah is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics along with a Fitness minor. She is a true foodie and loves baking, cooking, and all things coffee! She also loves Pittsburgh and you can often find her cheering-on all of the city’s sports teams.

Kelsey Ciampa, Writing Intern
Kelsey is a sophomore at Saint Louis University majoring in nutrition and dietetics and minoring in Spanish. She wants to pursue a career as a physician’s assistant. She loves swimming, watching Netflix, and writing.

Liz Dunn, Writing Intern
Liz is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh about to receive her bachelors degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with hopes of becoming a Registered Dietitian. She is very interested in food and nutrition and she participates in many sports including wheelchair rugby and adaptive rowing. Liz was very active with snowboarding and running prior to her injury, but did not let a spinal cord injury get in the way of pursuing her goals.

Morgan Harm, Writing Intern
Morgan is a freshman at the University of Minnesota, majoring in nutrition with the intent of becoming a registered dietician. She is passionate about healthy living and writing, and loves pandas and eating peanut butter. When she is not busy with homework or extracurriculars she enjoys spending time with friends, laughing too loud, and listening to music.

Elizabeth Murphy, Writing Intern
Elizabeth is a sophomore Food and Nutrition major at Framingham State University. She is extremely passionate about health and wellness, and also loves getting in touch with nature. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, rock climbing, cooking, and cuddling with her cat.

Tara Trakin, Writing Intern
Tara is a graduate student at San Diego State University studying nutrition and dietetics. She ultimately wants to be a sports dietitian. She loves animals, playing every sport imaginable, watching 30 Rock, and discovering new foods.

Rachel is a Junior at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities pursuing a degree in Nutrition Studies with an emphasis on Culinary Science. She has always been passionate about cooking, eating and learning about food. Her grandpa got her in the kitchen when she was four-years-old and she hasn’t left since. When she is not in the kitchen, she loves to run, bike, hike and take awesome food photos.
